Same :). To other fellow new players: I found this really beginner friendly and current Let's Play, which explains a lot of the game mechanics in details. Looks to be a great introduction to the game. Since I can't post links, look for the video "Detailed Planet Generation ~ SHADOW EMPIRE Hot Jungle 00" from YouTube channel "DasTactic" to find the first episode.

This is really beginner friendly. It's the first game of this genre I managed to achieve something without feeling lost and confused with all the options, information and menus. ;-)
