when I launch the game with win 7 on a samsung 2433 (1920*1200 native) the monitor gives me a "not correct video mode" message and after a minute or so blacks out (the image comes back if I alt+tab tha game).
it doesn't happen with my other gog games (even in low res), it has happened in the past with other low resolution games. usually the solution is to change the resolution (even via some config file editing) or playing in windowed mode.
but I don't know how to do either with this game and haven't found anything useful with google. I'm open to suggestions.

Check your ati or nvidia control panel and make sure none of those have any gobal settings forced on, you want antialiasing and all that to be application controlled.
Also if you go to your monitors desktop resolution does it support 800x600 or 1024x768?
checked the ati control panel, no forced settings, everything is at default.
about my monitor, I can't be sure, but old games like fallout 1 and 2 work at native resolution (I think 640*480 and 800*600) without the same problem.
to add some info I tried actually playing the game and it is very laggy. I have no idea why. it is the only gog game that acts this way.
Hmm, if you check the start menu and find the game in that under gog.com does it have a graphics setup mode shortcut?
no, just the link to the game, to uninstall it and the documentation.
