Hey guys,
I always wondered if the population of a town increases over time, because I didn't notice that yet. I got some problems, mainly because my town is only populated by 10 peasants and I need more to recruit soldiers. Is there a possibilty to increase the population?

1. Population in a town does increase.
2. you can increase your population by force.
3. you can increase your population by bribs.
4. you can increase your population by influence.

The first one is the least likely to win the game!

Okay, yeah I noticed the population goes up slightly after a while. But my problem is when my army is destroyed and I only have few soldiers left. It's pretty hard to draft new soldiers.
But thanks mate.
Yeah I was having this problem too, looks like you can't actually force your peasants to breed (dang!). You have to take over new towns so that those peasants then belong to you. I believe you can also encourage breeding by having a market attached to the town that supplies them with all the products they need. I click 'new towns emerge' in the game setup so that there are new towns to take over.
