just finished level 3 -- tomb of ramses III -- but instead of kicking me into level 4 -- valley of kings -- i got sent back to the start of the tomb, BUT with my newly acquired weapons (tommy gun, rocket launcher, coach gun). F1 key, got message: [chunk ID validation failed, can't change level, expected WRLD, found " "]. any ideas? (guess i'll play level over again with new weapons and hope to progress.) playing on acer netbook -- Win7, 32-bit, 1 GB RAM.

(happened again)

uninstalled and reinstalled game -- i'm in the valley of kings!!!!! (be careful what you wish for)

[could it be that i deleted setup file after first install? do i need to keep setup file after download?]

Seems like a random bug that crept in, though I've not heard of that bug before.

As for the setup files, if you mean the GOG installer file, then no it isn't needed once you've installed the game, so you can safely archive it off somewhere, delete it, burn it to disc, whatever.
@korell: thanks for the input. still have the setup file on my computer, including desktop icon -- superstitiously afraid to delete it.

Thanks
PS : Be sure to check out this collection of hand-picked co-op maps that I put on my Mediafire.

Link : http://www.mediafire.com/folder/9uj2g2r72mbgf/TFE_Files_-_Co-op

I also hand-picked a set of decent-good single player only maps : http://www.mediafire.com/folder/u9jzgalua41f5/TFE_Files_-_Single_Player

To install, if it's a GRO file, just put it in the base folder of Serious Sam Classic TFE, if it's a ZIP file, then extract to the base folder.
