So, I've just installed Serious Sam: The First Encounter, and have noticed that lensflares cause quite a bit of lag, especially during the start of the game at the entrance of the desert temple when looking at torches.

Does anyone know how to fix this, without having to turn off the cool lensflares? My PC isn't that old :-/

If you could change the FOV, too, that'd be great!

Don't use direct3d if you are using windows 10

On windows 10 all directx8/8.1 games are forced to run in a borderless windowed mode and this cause also serious stuttering, and some options (v-sync for example) doesn't work or cause crash

so set opengl and retry (check also video driver and try to reinstall june 2010 redist of directx)

Thanks, switching from Direc3D to OpenGL worked!
