Anniversary Update 1.07 (January 25, 2023)
What’s New?

• It is now possible to start New Game+ on any difficulty from the menu. If you have completed a normal playthrough on a difficulty other than Serious, the option to go into NG+ on the currently played difficulty is now given (next to the original option of going into NG+ on Serious).
• Improved enemy riding on the Khnum. Yeehaw!
• Biomechanoid Major no longer “kicks” the player while standing still.
• Octanian Oleg no longer fights the player when attacked. Please stop harassing the poor fella.
• Adjusted RNG on the Wheel of Fortune in the “Song of the Stormbringer” Christmas area.
• Improved skin texture on Serious Sammy / Dark Delilah player models.
• It is now easier to get out of the ice-hole on the lake in Siberiade. A bit too late for Christmas ice-hole bathing, we know.

Bug fixes

• Fixed the issue where certain savegames on the “Roadside Picnic” level would not load in the 1.06c hotfix version.
• Fixed the bug where certain achievements were not awarded in NG+ playthroughs.
• Fixed the bug where certain very old savegames would crash the game on startup due to Beheaded Firecracker Netricsa message missing.
• Fixed the Freezer weapon skin displaying the original Burner icon in the Weapon Wheel.
• Fixed the bug where the Hoverboard would be destroyed upon spawning in some places on “The Smell of Petroleum Prevails”.
• Fixed the bug where the player could not use HEART gadget if died while using Chainsaw Launcher’s secondary fire.
• Removed the ability to ride certain Christmas areas enemies.
• Fixed seasonal cosmetics on certain enemies not displaying blood splatters.

Modding

• It is now possible to disable riding and melee on particular instances of enemies by adding “NoRiding” or/and "NoMelee" in their entity name. For example, "Gnaar_Female01_NoRidingNoMelee", or "Khnum_NoRiding".
Hotfix Update 1.06c (December 30, 2022)
• Fixed an issue that caused increased player speed on NG++ and further to reset to normal speed after watching a cutscene;
• Fixed an issue that caused allied Draconian Burner’s AI to randomly break;
• Fixed an issue where some of the enemies’ original attachments would not show up if a seasonal savegame is loaded without seasonal content available (disabled/out of season);
• Fixed enemy navigation issues and a certain invisible wall in Crime and Punishment;
• Various visual fixes and adjustmetns in Siberiade;
• Fixed male underwater death sounds on female player models.
Hotfix Update 1.06b (December 22, 2022)
• Fixed Serious Editor incorrectly displaying text information/icons.

• Fixed a few instances of drones getting stuck out of player’s view and blocking level progression.
• Improved displayed message in situations when the player has the “Way to Go” button, used to open NG+ upgrade menu, unbound.

Merry Christmas Update 1.06 (December 18, 2022)
Christmas

• Christmas-themed game menu, Netricsa and enemies. If you’re Grinch, turn off seasonal content in the Game Options menu and restart the game.
• “Freezer” Burner weapon skin, unlockable during the Christmas event.
• A new special area on every level, available during the Christmas event.
• New music by our awesome Anna Lazarev (Musearys) and mighty Ivan Špeljak Jitz (Undercode) collab!

New Game+

• After completing the main campaign in Singleplayer or Co-Op, you can now opt to continue playing in New Game+, starting from the first level but keeping all your skills, weapons and gadgets!
• New Game+ features progressively more challenging game modifiers, return of a fan-favorite weapon, an ability to upgrade your weapons and tons of new enemy encounters!
• If you have ever completed the Siberian Mayhem campaign, you are able to start the first New Game+ level from the menu, bypassing completion of the final level of the campaign.
• In Cooperative, New Game+ offers the option to save your current Co-Op session so that you can load it at a later time and continue the endless journey with your friends! Be aware that this feature saves the state of the Co-Op session as it was at the start of the currently played level, and loading puts you at the start of the level as well.

General

• If a player leaves and rejoins a Co-Op session mid-level, his skills and inventory are now restored more precisely.
• Minimech now supports manual reloading of the cannons with the “Reload” key.
• New ammo icon and ammo name for the Burner raygun.
• Improvements to the enemy riding on Reptiloid, Draconian Burner, Minor Biomech and Draconian Pyromaniac.
• Updated Reptiloid and adult Arachnoid death animations.
• Shotgun grenade launcher now has auto-fire enabled.

Bug fixes

• Fixed the bug where melee on clients in Co-Op would sometimes not rotate the player towards the monster properly.
• Fixed the bug which allowed the player to restart the elevator in the bunker on Roadside Picnic while it was already moving.
• Fixed the bug where the weapons would not float in Netricsa outside of seasons.
• Fixed various bugs with visibility of Key Counter HUD icons in Siberiade.
• Fixed the bug that allowed you to kill the minefield with a Black Hole. Yeah, you read it right.
• Added safeguards which prevent softlocks in all fights/gameplay sequences which have to be completed in order to progress.
Update 1.05b (October 27, 2022)
• Added missing translations for NPC alternative voice lines.
• Fixed an error in seasonal script that could sometimes appear in Cooperative for clients.
• Fixed a relocated secret Hoverboard in Crime and Punishment not counting towards total secrets statistics. Note, the secret still will not count in statistics, if you are playing on a save that was created on previous game version.
• Visually updated a specific ugly terrain spot in Crime and Punishment.
Update 1.05 (October 25, 2022)
What’s New

• Halloween-themed game menu, Netricsa and enemies. If you're scared, turn off seasonal content in the Game Options menu and restart the game;
• New music on "Hide and Seek" side-quest when returning from the frozen lake. Damjan is still rockin’!
• New music for the pills secret on The Song of the Stormbringer level. Not a big deal, but might be interesting;
• Added alternative lines for NPCs, so their battle cries don’t get too repetitive;
• Performance and visual updates for the Crime and Punishment level, especially in the train station area;
• Updated secret cat terminal (loaf chonker, darth-cat or white cloud cat? Choose the one you like).

Bug fixes

• Fixed a bug when player's weapon was not restored in their hands after solving the puzzle with pipes;
• Fixed a bug with Alyona’s eye shades being visible in first-person mode;
• Fixed a bug with Kleer Kurt and Classic Sam’s body being visible when using melee finishers in first-person mode;
• Fixed a bug with Kleer Kurt and Sergey player models not unlocking on a fresh profile despite the player already having corresponding achievements;
• Updated first-person arms for Silicon Sam player model;
• Fixed Sirian Werebull rotating around incorrect origin in Netricsa;
• Level music no longer clashes with the Menu/Netricsa music when playing in Co-Op;

Modding

• All player models now support the usage of the flashlight option in Zone Controller entity.

Update 1.04b (August 02, 2022)
• Fixed an issue where the player's view would randomly shift when playing in a Cooperative game.

What's New

• Players will now automatically start climbing ladders when approaching them, instead of having to press the 'Use' button. Also, added ladder climbing sounds. Wait, do we hear the sound of the modern age?
• Various tweaks and changes in all cutscenes, updated animations and scenes. Also, added ultra-wide screen format support.

Gameplay fixes

• Fixed a bug which would sometimes cause Looter Shooter to drop an infinite amount of items.
• Pipe puzzles on “Siberiade” now respond to more controller buttons.
• Fixed a bug where bosses would not receive killing blow damage from a piercing projectile (like cannonballs).
• Fixed a bug where the player could not use H.E.A.R.T. gadget if killed during melee animation.
• Fixed a bug where a weapon on the third-person player model would sometimes not be drawn out after exiting a vehicle (making the player shoot rockets out of their feet).
• Fixed a bug where hidden items would not unhide after loading a savegame. “Roadside Picnic” and “Crime and Punishment” will now always have that extra Auto Shotgun ammo if you picked this secret weapon up.
• If the player uses “Toggle Sprint” and presses the “Toggle Sprint” button before starting to run forward and does not release the button until starting to run forward, the sprint will still toggle on. Yes, this sentence fries my brain a little every time I read it.
• Fixed a certain spot in “Monkey Canyon” where most of the enemies could not reach the player.
• Fixed a bug on “Kleer Fortress” where the difficulty would not reset to Normal after restarting the level, resulting in harder challenge on subsequent attempts. We are very sorry for that!
• No more distracting fight music in “Roadside Picnic” dig site cave.

Visual fixes

• Fixed an issue with additional rockets on the rocket launcher sometimes not appearing when using the Multirocket attachment.
• Armor is now displayed on HUD when riding a vehicle in which the player is invulnerable.
• When picking a ride health item (e.g. repair kit for the Tank), the added health is now displayed in percentages.
• Reduced performance impact from Metal Snake destruction effects.
• Added glowing parts to the Legionnaire shield.

Other fixes

• Fixed various bugs with customizing controller buttons layout.
• Updated Shrek’s toilet. No kidding.

Modding

• Script functions which change weapon speed/damage modifier now properly affect Knife and Beams.
• Fixed a bug leading to Serious Editor overwriting certain Netricsa message files when the user is saving the campaign level.
Update 1.03c (May 10, 2022)
• Fixed the game sometimes stuttering with NVidia GPUs on some systems.
• Fixed frequent crashes on Roadside Picnic level.
• Reduced performance impact from T.A.C.T. explosions.
• Custom controller layout will now have standard bindings by default, so the player can adjust the config rather than recreate it from scratch.

Stability and Performance Fixes

• Love Vulkan? Having issues with locks and crashed during loading? Great! I mean, not that great, but it will be, as we fixed it.
• Various small stability and performance fixes™.

Gameplay Fixes

• You can now earn the “Massacre Party” achievement over several Co-Op sessions if the order of the completed levels and required game settings are respected.
• You know how the hoverboard you’re on when starting a cutscene would someone leave you behind? Well, we called it naughty and it promised not to do it anymore. It will also stop preventing you from registering secrets or teleporting. Make sure to call it nice and pet it from time to time.
• The “Healing Punch” skill will now properly award health upon melee kills.
• If you join a “Siberiade” Co-Op session in progress, you will get your own set of wheels (or tracks), provided the other players are in a vehicle section.
• You can no longer die from fall damage when on an ATV in “Siberiade” because the dev team hates fun.
• Snowmobiles are now invulnerable and redirect incoming damage to the player (like the ATVs), because the dev team hates fun part 2.
• The Tank repair kit will now appear as intended after loading saved games.
• Monsters will no longer get stuck the final fight on “Roadside Picnic”.
• The Metal Snake in the final depot fight of the “Roadside Picnic” no longer counts towards the “Hole-in-One” achievement, making it much more consistent to earn.
• Added missing Kleer to the Classic room of “The Song of the Stormbringer” on Serious difficulty.

Visual Fixes

• Minor updates across cutscenes including updated lighting in the train scene, and in the scene after the credits.
• Updated the animation of Sam breaking S.A.M.

Other Fixes

• The credits text roll now properly appears on clients after finishing the game in co-op.
