Hey guys, do you ever think the HD versions of Serious Sam will ever appear on GOG. They've got my vote that's for sure.
Most probably not, Croteam seems not interested in selling their new products DRM free.
I really wonder how much they gain from this...
Long shot.

What is Steamworks and how/why does it have exclusive?
Steamwork officially is a set of libraries made by Valve Software to make development games easier. Realistically is a way to force people to use Steam and its digital handcuffs without any real add.

And it is quite ironic since you can play the game pirated without problems anyway. So it is just to annoy honest people that consider their basic right more than nothing.

Regardless of whether or not it makes its way here soon, I think the community here would really appreciate it if the HD option were offered akin to how the Stranger's Wrath HD is offered (with the original game also included).
It's about the same issue that's faced with Duke Nukem Megaton or Worms Reloaded: Steamworks wouldn't be able to be used without Steam, which means no online content at least. And Croteam probably doesn't feel like that much effort is needed (on a financial basis) to bring it here along with no one wanting an incomplete game, so you probably won't be seeing that appear soon.

Yes it does sound dumb, but there you go.
