Will GOG make a server for multiplayer?

I sent in a ticket for this the other day. The First Encounter is missing the "multiplayer" description in game modes, but apparently the game does have support for it. I would assume gog would fix this issue in the very near future...

I have yet to buy the game, but I seriously doubt that gog would go out of their way to use their system resources to add server support for one game. You might want to try a LAN connection, or, if you're wanting to play with someone over the internet, setting up a Hamachi server.
