An R-18 patch to unlock all elements of "Seed of the Dead: Sweet Home" can be downloaded here.:
https://erogejapan.com/patch/sod_sh/

This patch contains depictions of extreme violence and sexually explicit acts.
Do not install this patch If you are under the age of 18, or feel uncomfortable with those themes.

By installing this patch you agree to bear sole responsibility for any issues that may result from its use.

*A new patch version will need to be reinstalled after every game update.

Very nice. You do know that Gog has no problem hosting the patch themselves right? They do it for plenty of other adult games.

[EDIT] Works especially well since if you run the game with Galaxy you don't have to worry about installing the patch each time the game is updated as Galaxy will do it for you.

Yes, better add it as DLC. No R-18 restrictions (separate storefront page, as separate product). Auto updated with game for GOG Galaxy build. Separate DLC-installer for offline build.

It also can be uploaded to "bonus_content", but publisher can forget to update it later. Not sure if R-18 restrictions aplly to "bonus_content" section (again, better to bonusses for DLC, not for main game). So better make it as (free-)DLC build. It been always included in Galaxy, but locked by default.
Separate page with additional R-18 rating warning for DLC - all be good with that way.

Example - Thronebreaker Galaxy build + 4k assets DLC

http://www.gogdb.org/product/1815334487
http://www.gogdb.org/product/1297352383

Although this not cover possibility to add bonus_content to DLC. here is another DLC example
http://www.gogdb.org/product/1441620909#downloads

Since this is patch and version specific - should be part of DLC, not bonus content.
But theme songs can be added as bonus_content. For free - for main game. Or make another DLC with no any DLC itself (installers or Galaxy related builds) - but only with zip archives with lossy+lossless music.
There is another examples of that DLC with only bonus_content...
They Are Billions - Artbook and music DLC (that is not DLC but just zip goodies)

Hello,

We have been trying to get this game released as an R-18 version on Gog.com, but unfortunately, they don't want to put extreme content on their site, so we had to release it with the same specifications as the Steam version.
We considered adding the R-18 elements as a free DLC, but that is difficult because the same policy is applied to DLC too.

I think GOG COULD live with region locks for certain countries, at least the patch would be directly available with the game.

Please bring part one "Seed of the Dead" here, too. Thanks a lot!

Does this include achievements as well? I just noticed that the game had an achievement list already, but now they're hidden or removed. Are there any plans to add them later?

Take a look here:

Unrated DLC (search for unrated and you'll find a lot more) on GOG - no problem.

I suppose it might depend on just how 'extreme' the content in the patch is. I don't know of any official policy that's written down anywhere, just that we started getting 18+ games recently.

The "extreme" goes from rape to guro. So yeah, as extreme as it gets.

Kinda wondering why this release barely had any promotion, let alone a promotional forum. Would have like to see the usual nut jobs screaming like banshees.

Agreed unless you are referring to those defending such games

I'm the type to defend these type of games, so you can figure out the rest.

I only ever criticize things when the translation is garbage, or the game is made to push certain political pandering points.

The banshees against this type of games always get a mental breakdown when these games get released, so it's always fun to see them running towards their safe spaces.
