I. Symptom:
a) Game starts, shows loading bar but than closes as if you alt+tabbed,
B) GOG play button is back to ready to play
c) game dose not show any active process afterwards

II. solution:
a) Open windows defender
b) left side pane shows things like home, virus & threat protection etc. find link "app and browser control"
c) in middle of the window (it should be bottom option) exploit protection select exploit protection settings
D) within window thumbnails of system setting (currently active) and program settings - choose latter
E) + to add program to customize (you can directly go through adding the file path or just add secondsight.exe)
f) once added it should open up settings for the specific executable, find " Force Randomization For Images ( Mandatory ASLR )"
g) override system settings
h) ensure the setting is in off position than apply
