I just tried to give this game a go, but for some reason, I can only direct telekinesis with my crappy, crappy touchpad. My USB mouse works for looking around and interacting with stuff, but telekinesis just acts as though I'm not doing anything at all when I'm using my USB mouse. My touchpad, on the other hand, will move an object, but slowly and unpredictably. This is rendering the hallway with the guards at the absolute beginning of the game more or less impossible, as I can't reliably move the trash can into their field of vision.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can convince the game to let me manipulate things with my mouse? I don't even seem to have the option to disable my touchpad in Device Manager!
