hi, bit of a let down this one.

for some reason, any res higher than 1024x768 will make the mouse pointer lock up and not move, and i have to alt tab out to quit, but then when i do use a res to play in, the graphics are all artifacts and whatnot over the screen.

anyone else?

geforce 870, up to date everything

I wonder if the game has a problem with laptops. The GeForce 870 is a laptop video card and some games, even older ones, have issues with them.

Nah i got the same with my geforce GTX 970. I fear the game doesn't like modern computers. Running it on window 8.1. Tried to switch resolution to 1024x768 and that seemed to work at first..the menu's worked fine etc. Then i walked around, talked to a guy, opened my menu and boom weird collors, seeing only half the screen, text unreadable, etc.

I was getting the same problem as you. The game itself (sea and town) played fine, but when I exited to the menus and inventories, I could only see half the screen and the colors were off. I never figured out how to fix it, but eventually I realized it only happened when I alt + tabbed back to Windows, so I stopped doing that, and the problem went away.
