Ahoy mateys,

A problem is occurring which also occurs in the CD version of the game, specifically when attempting to get your father's treasure on Telltak Island (I believe there are other endings in the game where this problem arises as well).

The game simply crashes when you attempt to 'Land', and displays an error: "ENGINE.exe has encountered a problem and was forced to close."

From some research online, I believed this was a DirectX issue, but after using Dxwnd to force an older version, the same issue occurs. Fiddling with the textures, resolution size, Windows XP compatibility, nothing makes any change.

This is a pretty serious issue, not being able to finish the game. Any ideas?
