Hi all I just begin on Carribean Tales (I am a veteran of POTC and COAS) and I wonder what beginning parameters you suggest me to take, and if I can change them later.

Also I just begin a game with France, I have chosen the relation parameter "normal" but all nations are my friends, is this normal ?

Last but not least, I wonder how to attack a friendly ship. I can't fire nor board it, so what ? Thanks

You must have selected 'no enemies' at game start.

You can always hit tab and manually aim your cannons at a friendly ship. Fire with space and if you hit they'll turn hostile.
