Heh, for /some reason/ I never heard the CD music back then so I can't compare, but having now redeemed myself, I find myself longing for this imperfection to be fixed. See, I originally thought of the possibility that the glitches could be some sort of custom sync markers for the game and inaudible in it. But after having heard the clicks in-game as well and realizing CD audio wasn't utilized as digital data streams but as a simple analog signal to the soundcard, the possibility seemed less and less likely.
So, either something went wrong when the original was wrapped in shiny GOG packaging or as you say, the glitches were there all along. Anyway, it's a a pity if this can't be fixed, especially when it seems like a fairly simple thing to do. The glitches are heard after the tracks have faded out, so the audio processing involved would be very basic stuff.
hansschmucker: raina, I have created FLAC encoded versions with the offending parts silenced, but I can't hand them out to people who haven't bought the game. If you want it, just drop me a line at

Thanks, but I can do that myself. Only the faulty CD image remains a problem. If that can't be fixed by GOG, I shall look into it myself.
