My problem is that after playing the game for a bit it'll just freeze, go to my desktop, show dosbox running with a black screen, and then it closes dosbox. It has done this twice now and is starting to get on my nerves.

How long is a bit? It tends to crash on mine after a couple of races

During a championship I got to race 9, then it crashed, so i would say 8 races. Putting it in administration mode seemed to help

I had the exact same problem (luckily the game saved my progress, so I don't have to redo all the races). Keep us posted if running it in admin mode indeed does solve the problem or not!

I just did what mutilatedmessiah suggested in this thread and set the memsize from 16 to 64 in the dosboxScreamer CONF file. No crashes so far, I thought I'd let y'all know. Cheers!
