Thanks GOG :)

I took advantage of the recent sale to retire my old CD-based installation and switch to the GOG version, and it's running beautifully (Win XP).

I'm using the _gl executable (which I think was the default), and setting the resolution to 1280x1024 works a treat on my 1920x1080 monitor: Correct aspect ratio, no stretching; the game looks great!

(I see that some people have encountered problems, but everything seems perfect on my machine.)

I look forward to spending a lot more time with this version of the game.
