Just purchased Screamer 2 and running on Mac Mountain Lion.
Installs fine, but when I launch game, I get a screen asking to insert screamer 2 disk.
After hitting various keys, enter, space etc, it then goes to black screen and crashes.

Any ideas folks?

Tried a re-install, but to no avail.
The only thing I'm not sure about is whether the install leaves any config files behind that may be screwed up?

Thanks!
Could this help at all? If not, consider contacting Support.

I've run into the same problem myself. I thought the fix would be as easy as just tweaking some lines in a dosbox.conf file somewhere, but I don't know how Boxer Standalone stores its DOSBox preferences, and furthermore, they seemed to use a dummy.iso CD image instead of the GAME.GOG file in the Windows version.

Oh well. I guess I'll just have to install the game in Boxer from the Windows installer, just like the good old days. I'll make it a point to contact support too.
Ok, feel a bit of an idiot now....

I followed the support guidelines and just deleted the screamer 2 folder from
~/"Library/Application Support/Boxer/

All works fine now.

As per GOG support page.
To access your saved games, go to Applications -> Terminal
In Terminal, paste, or type in, the following line and press Enter (Return):
open ~/"Library/Application Support/Boxer/Gamebox States"
Find your game's folder. The package containing your save files is located inside.
Yes it works for 1 or 2 times but after that the game still ask for disk (on mountain lion)

We just uploaded a new version of our Mac installer for Screamer 2 that should address this issue :D.

Yes, those config files are in Boxer and yes, they get left behind. Please make sure to remove any and all config files for Screamer 2 for Mac before using the new version.
