Anyone has the same problem? Screamer 2 with nGlide has some very distracting black lines between shapes- is there a way to make this look any better?

NVidia GTX 285
S2 comes with Glide support out of the box. Just use the 3dfx shortcut. There are occasional artifacts due to z-buffer issues but nothing too annoying. Unless it's really excessive, then it might be a problem with ForceWare drivers.

Guess it's ForceWare then- I used the 3Dfx shortcut. I'll give another glide emulator a shot to see if it works better. GOG's version comes with DOSBox/nGlide.
Have you tried enabling anti-aliasing/anisotropic filter ? I'd also give a try to the FXAA. Not sure what Direct3D level is nGlide using but it's worth a try. Sometimes these features improve things (or make worse in rare cases). Can't hurt trying...

Just gave that a try and while it does somewhat improve the graphics, it doesn't fix the issue with the seams. Maybe I'm just too picky? I looked up several video's of S2 on YouTube, and they all appear to have the same problem where you can see through objects where polygons meet. Shows up like a black grid on the track in this vid:

Actually i noticed yesterday that i have them as well. They just don't show up as intense on all tracks. For example i barely see them on England track but Egypt has them very visible (bright road, dark horizon/background.

I've tried few things and none really helps. Without FSAA it looks somewhat better because all pixels are moving more so the lines are harder to see. If you use FSAA, all objects have smooth lines and these black triangles appear to be much more visible as they have a clear shape.

Only two tracks that will have the most apparent problem with this are Egypt and Finland anyway, it's not as bad on other tracks really.

But if you hate it so much, try software mode. It doesn't look as bad but i don't remember having these black things on the ground.
I tried with adding forced high levels of AA and AF in the nvidia game profiler but the artifacts are still there. Not game destroying but in some tracks like egypt they are very visible.
These black seams are caused because the game is played in much higher resolutions than what it was originally designed for, which was 640x480 max.
The game was drawn with inaccurassies in matching textures and sprites together which would not be seen in lowres but become a problem in highres.
It is a common problem too on emulated 3D games like PSX games and I highly doubt any form of anti-aliasing or filtering can solve this.
