So I'm playing along and to my dismay I'm locked out of an area before I found all the secrets in it! Blast! And it's not like there's a reason I couldn't go back - Scarlet literally stands outside the door to it and refuses to go in for no reason. And then in the next area I DID find the secret, and literally the second I did that thrice-cursed werewolf appeared and I had to run without getting it, and then I was locked out AGAIN. After THAT I went to some effort to delete my saves completely and reset the whole game. I sort of plan to start again and this time play very, very unrealistically to very carefully not advance anything until I scour the area find everything. Or maybe I shouldn't bother, because I can't imagine it would be half as fun. Crap game mechanics strike again!
