I posted the following message right after I tried to download the game. I still have not heard so am resubmitting.

ORIGINAL JUNE 12 POST
Bought the game during the recent sale. THREE download attempts before a clean copy came through. When trying to install, I see an error message saying,

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Window's you're running. Check you computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program and then contact the software publisher."

I'm not certain what it means, but I am certain that I cannot install/play the game--and I am NOT computer savy. How can I get this game refunded?

Thanks,
BCP

Do you know what version of Windows you are running? As for support information, simply click the "Support" tab at the top of the webpage then search for Sanitarium.
Check over the page there and follow any steps it has listed. If none of that helps, click "I can't find solution for my problem" located on the right side of that same page. This will allow you to submit a support ticket. Fill it out and GOG's support staff will review your problem and tell you ways you might be able to fix it.
If all that fails, they can offer you your money back or another game of equal value.
I'm running WIndows 7; other games I've downloaded are working...I'll try the support tab (again).
