I have a Dell XP16, and I tried installing Sanitarium. But my PC suddenly began slowing down, even before the game launch (after successfull install, before game lanch)! Everything freezes in my PC, for a couple seconds, every 10 seconds or so! I can't even correctly move the game's shortcut!
I scanned several times my PC, wich is recent and clean. Of course it doesn't happen with any other program or game.
I deleted the game, eveything went back to normal. I tried to install it again, and the issues came back.
What is happening? Did anyone ever hear about that issue, do you have any clue?

It might be a hardware issue, for example a faulty harddrive. Did you have any slowdowns while installing the game?
Have you tried installing to an entirely different location (preferably a different drive or at least a different partition)?

I did not try that.. Thank you for your answer. But it is very strange that this issue doesn't occur with any other program or game, inckuding other Gog games..
My PC is very recent, but maybe my HDD is in trouble.. Oops :(
