Hi I'm running windows 8.1 with a quad core CPU if that helps.

Forcing v sync off and trying different compatibility modes don't seem to work.

Works fine on my other machine which runs XP SP2.

Any help would be appreciated!

Please, don't get discouraged by what I'm about to say, but Sanitarium is one of those rare games that even GOG couldn't fix on a lot of machines/OSes. The only two I had any remote trouble running were, indeed, this one and Interstate '76 Arsenal -- which is a shame, since both are really great games.

I'd recommend playing Sanitarium on your Win XP PC until someone more tech savvy than me can provide you with a satisfying solution to your problem.

Thanks man. I sent in a support ticket and will update. Funny, its several games that have this problem on my 8.1 machine.

Samaritan Paradox
Monkey Island Special Edition
Legend of Kyrandia 1and 2

Others are unaffected however so I'm not quite sure what the issue is.
