If I talk to the character in the "Gator Golf" area and mention the Bigfoot, I get a short response and then the game hangs. Music continues but the cursor has disappeared and nothing can be done or activated. So, F5 and leave the game to get out.

Not sure if I can continue the game or not if I don't ask about the Bigfoot, a character Sam & Max are trying to find.

Anyone else run into this?

I've never had this problem, but don't worry about whether you can continue without asking about the Bigfoot. It's actually possible to complete the game without ever talking to the Gator Golf attendant at all.
