So in case anyone's trying to run the new remastered version of this game on a Linux machine on top of Wine:
* The "skinny" installer doesn't seem to like Wine. You'll need the "offline" installer. (Unfortunately at least with the current version of Wine I'm using none of the .NET stuff will install, which apparently the "skinny" installer needs.)
* Wine's d3d11 implementation doesn't get along with the game. I remembered to try DXVK, and after that the graphics looked correct. So, you'll want to use DXVK. If you don't, lots of textures won't show up, the Desoto will bounce up and down a lot in the intro, and Max will look glow-in-the-dark once you get past the intro.
