whenever I open saints row IV I can't access anything else on the internet. not my browser, not anything on gog or steam, nothing.

I think it's related to how when the game started and asked me for permission to private and open networks I just clicked ok when it only had public checked and not private, but I can't figure out how to change that now if it's even the problem.

running in administrator mode doesn't fix it so I don't know what to do.

e: turns out it's not just my computer, it turns off the entire internet in my house! makes me think it's more than just a setting now...

double edit: turns out I was right about the network permissions, I figured out how to give it access to private networks and now it works fine.
