looking for information if saints row 3/ saints row 4 uses lan for multiplayer on gog/ gog galaxy/ or watever

i do prefer lan as my friends and I do meetup still to play together and sometimes where we meet up the internet
is too low or nonexistent (such as community room at apartment complex)

just trying to prevent another issue like i had with ashes of the singularity which i thought had lan since steam version didn't (... then found out gog galaxy is how they are getting newer games now)

SR4 features Galaxy as well as LAN for multiplayer. In SR3 LAN is even the only MP option

Second that. Had seen that it is on sale on steam and gog so i would buy it on gog if i can play with my friends that own the steam version.

I'm afraid not, LAN seems to be the only crossplay option. Afaik it's only possible to invite GOG friends, not sure if matchmaking supports crossplay.

Given that the game is on GOG Connect right now, if you buy the game on Steam now, you can have it redeemed to your GOG account as well for free, just saying. Don't wait too long though, I don't know how long the game will stay on Connect.

I think the game is for 5 more days on GOG ( till next thursday)

thanks, planning on making a purchase using the money they gave me credit for, happy GOG has customer service that i can actually get in touch with instead of bot responses is that you get from valve so i was able to get something back from my blunder purchase of ashes before
