Hey. So anyone wanna tell me their choices?

I was thinking about going all Stratos, then I got to this annoying level with Two Pyro Wizards. :-/ You can't let them get four monoliths.(Stupid LeveL>_<)

Have you done it yet? I went straight to Butas altar and took him out, then after that there's no worry of Hachimen going to attack Charlotte, so objectives change to just killing Hachimen.

I've always went Stratos and no, I haven't quite beaten them yet
I went with Earth for the pretty rainbow healing powers
Stratos is one of the harder ones to finish the final level with. If you go for Persephone then you get a charm spell as your final spell. This means that the enemy's attacks can instantly convert a monster to you each time. It's very useful. If you go for Charnel then you get a spell that blows up a creature, leaving some blue souls for you to collect, nearly as useful as charm.

I can't remember what you get for stratos, but I distinctly remember finding it hardest with him and James.
I chose Stratos since i like the whole Winter/Air units although i heard that if you help one God out too much then the others won't let you do missions for them anymore, is this true? I was hoping to maybe mix it up by using both Stratos and Persephone.

It works in such a way, that at first you can freely change gods. Next, you somehow become attached to a kind of alliance. So you can choose from two or three gods.
There are also points in the missions that allow you to switch your god yet another time.

So generally you can switch your god a few times. It is not however possible to do it anytime you want. If you have attacked one god consistently, don't expect him to grant you his powers.

Remember, you will *never* please all the gods. You have to make choices.
I've played through with every god just to enjoy the story from every angle. My personal favorite however is Pyros. I love his units and his particular type of industrial-style evil is something that you don't see very often so I like his uniqueness in that regard.

If you do too many missions for Persephone, I do believe, you kill either Pyros or Charnel. Personally, I relooked at it and I like using Persephone best. Her final creature kinda beats any other in my book

....*major Dragon fan*
James was easy enough I thought since your simple units can take such an insane amount of punishment. Without having to use much strategy you can just steamroll most things.

I'm usually all over the place, choosing which ever god the current level depending on what creatures/spells I want. For instance one of my saves is
James, Charnel x2, Persephone and Pyro rest of the way.

Perse's spells just seem the best
My first playthrough was years and years and years ago, but let me see if I can piece it together in my head . . .

1: Charnel - His personality, choice of words, and style really resonated with me.
2: Stratos - I originally tried to go Charnel for mission 2 as well, but I remember the Demon Gate of Golgotha mission being WAY too hard for me. I figured I'd try doing it from the other point of view, to maybe get a better idea of how to complete the mission, only then discovering that Stratos had a different mission in mind for me.
3: James - The warning about Jagudar seemed too pressing to ignore, so I dropped both evil masterminds and went to try and stem the tide of the Cult of Ashur. I'm no fan of Soul Mole or the Taurock, though.
4: Charnel - I decided I wanted to see how good ol' Charny was doing. Boy howdy did I ever pick the right moment to return! Animate Dead: HELL YES! As I recall, I ended up on the exact same map as I was on the previous mission too.
5: Pyro - At this point I don't think I had many options, so I wanted to try something new. I may have served Charnel again at this point, though. I can't rightly remember with perfect clarity.
6, 7, 8, 9: Charnel - I proceeded to finish the rest of the campaign under Charnel's banner, and was pleased with the ending. I vaguely recall defeating Yogo before Charlotte died my first playthrough, so in my mind, both James and Charnel had survived to the end.

Grand total, I've easily done over 20 playthroughs, including pure playthroughs for each god. My favourite custom spellbooks start with Stratos, and include Animate Dead, so most of my playthroughs account for those two particular elements/missions. There are some mission which are DEFINITELY too hard, but all are still possible to finish. One of the few complaints I can honestly fault Sacrifice with was a poorly balanced difficulty curve.
