When I try to run the game, I get the error as described above:
The Appilcation Failed To Initialize Properly ( 0xc0000005)
Has anyone else had a similar problem? I am running XP, and I once managed to get the game running with compatibility mode for Windows 2000, but I then uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it stopped working.
I did have a non-GOG copy of sacrifice installed before, but downloaded the GOG version because I got the same error.
EDIT: I seem to be able to get the game working once, if I uninstall a second copy and then run the first copy, though I then have to enter a CD Key. I can then play the game fine (used the key from my old copy of the game) but then after I quit I start getting the same error as above.
