Hello everyone,

I just installed Sacrifice and everything seems to be working, except my resolution seems stuck at 800x600 or 640x480.

- I've tried selecting within the game (nothing changes).
- I've attempted to edit the hex key by replacing the first 12 digits with "80 07 00 00 38 04" for 1920 x 1080 resolution as suggested in some posts.
- I've run the program and installed as admin.
- I've run the game in compatibly for XP SP 2
- Tried running the game to see if it was just a menu issue. No luck
- Noticed the registry value changes back after loading the game.

Any other suggestions or ideas that I may have missed?

Thank you

Ha Ha! Success!

Tried the registry trick again, but this time using 90 06 00 00 1A 04 for 1680x1050. Not my native resolution but better than whatever was being used before.

I will play with it more and see if I get any glitches or if forced AA helps.
So far, my wizard didn't show up until after the gods finished their intro talk.

Does the interplay version have resolution problems?
I believe it is generally considered problematic to run Sacrifice in widescreen resolutions. This doesn't bother me personally, but it might be worth a shot to see if a 4:3 resolution like 1400x1050 or 1440x1080 doesn't have this issue.
Just to wrap up.
I ultimately set registry the resolution to 1600x1200 on my 1920x1080 screen and it looks great without any glitches (well, the trees in the distance sometimes look like they can't decide which shading to use, but i'm not sure that is a resolution problem and it's hardly noticeable).

Haven't tried the forced AA, will do that later. Just happy to hear my wizard mumble incantations again.

I apologize as this thread is a repeat of other posts. But hey, in science repeat-ability is useful! :)
