I bought this game initially because it came out of one of Interplay's dev houses. Back in the day, Interplay was one of the the best publishers around I think! This game proved to be as much fun as I ever had on my PC back in those days! I would really like to see a remake of this game or a Sacrifice 2.

I agree. Interplay was a very good publishers (Fallout, Baldur's gate , Sacrifice...) . Sacrifice was my first pc game... but someone broke into my house back then so i lost it. Now with gog.com, I was happy to have it back! And a Sacrifice 2 would be cool. But Spoonard, I think that Interplay was bought by the makers of Elder Scrolls (Bethesda), so let see how it goes if they post a press release about sacrificie.. who knows

Fallout franchise was bought out by Bethesda, and actually Interplay has been trying to rise from the ashes but invested all but 100% of their effort into a Fallout MMO which has recently been shut down by breaching contract where basically Bethesda wanted them to have more financial backing than they currently had.
Interplay has produced I think 2 or 3 games recently of all sub-par standards, or atleast ideas. Can't wait to see if a new Sacrifice or other Interplay classic is brought in for a sequel, or a new classic is created but it seems like things aren't going any where at the moment.
*EDIT*
Let me clarify that Interplay is still independent and not owned by Bethesda.
