Hello all!
I don't own this game through GOG, but this seems to be the most active place where people still post about Sacrifice, so I'm asking here... are people still playing this in multiplayer, and if so, where? I see sacrificeplanet.net is down, and there was also a point when people could play through sac.kicks-ass.net, but that seems to be down as well. Is Sacrifice multiplayer utterly dead now? Would be kind of a shame if it were.
(Would be great if the game was "revitalized" much like AoE2/AoM... I'd totally contribute to a Kickstarter campaign or something for a project that wasn't a sequel or anything, just an update to modernize Sacrifice, improve its graphics and AI a little, fix its bugs and maybe tweak its balance a little... I know, there's pretty much no chance of that now, but hey, one can dream!)
