This is just weird, while in the menus after the game starts, there's nothing wrong. But when I start to play the game, there's portions of the screen that continue to flicker. Even more curious is that when I've tried to screenshot them, they don't appear on the screen shot except for this graphical error I got in the picture I attached. The white bar that's behind the menu is really a blocky triangle pointing downwards as the flickering continues. Whenever I hit the print screen to screenshot it, a flicker happens also.
It's really annoying and I'd like to play the game.
using an NVidia 8800 GTS with the latest drivers to play.

Try playing around your Vsync settings(I think GOG Sacrifice support page mention this as well).
I think this game also had some Z buffer tearing issues when the game dun make use of 24bit or 32 bit Z buffer capabilities of the cards that it was running on..

I got it running by setting up the NVidia control panel to force V-Sync off. I could have sworn that I set it to be forced off at all times. There's some other small things left, but I just attribute them to the game being old. Thanks for the help.
I just wish they'd make a sequel.
