Just purchased the game, and I find that I cannot access the console in single player game to enter the cheat codes on.. This is how i try to access the console during game play: CONTROL+SHIFT+~ and I do not the the box where I enter the cheat codes. I use to do this ages ago when I first got the game .. but now i just cannot seem to be able to get the console to show up :( halp!!!! plz...

That is the problem after I press the already mentioned buttons the green text does not appear :(... I use to be able to do it back in tha day when I bought the game, but I just cannot get it to work now.

I really would like to know if there is another way to enter the cheats? or if there is another way to enable console? like i dont get it why wouldn't it work..

to other software ? no.. only reason i use hotkeys are in other games.. that is it.. man this suxs :( hehe I tried everything but no luck..

Could it be that Sacrifice thinks your ~ key is located somewhere else? I've had this problem before, where a game was hardcoded to an American keyboard layout or something. Seeing as you're in the US, that's probably not it, but there might be a setting somewhere. Let's hope GOG hasn't made the installer put in a registry key locking it to a Polish keyboard layout ;-)

I had this problem as well, I just used CTRL+SHIFT+(that button to the left of 1)

It looks like it's the cause of updating XP to SP3 but if you completely Update and install all security updates for XP then it seems to work. I can't say the same for vista as I ahven't tried the game there yet.
