Hi I run 3 win 7 PC's and want to run Sacred Gameserver on 1 and Sacred multiplayer on the other 2.
Gameserver runs fine but when I run Sacred Multiplayer I can see the open game but when I Join I get an error
cannot connect to IP and some error code

I have tried to set compatibility mode to XP +sp3 to no avail

Any other ideas?

It might help you, and it might not.....

But to get it to connect over the internet you generally need to go into the options and set your connection type to ISDN.

This fixed a lot of issues people used to have, and it certainly allowed me to set up a server earlier in the year with some friends.

If you are using hamachi, you also need to adjust your network connection orders, but I won't go into that.
