I remember when this came out the U.S. released was censored to get a "T" rating. Does anyone know if GOG's is going to be the original uncensored U.K. version?
it'll be the same version that steam sells i'm guessing
Here is a comment from the article on Sacred on Wikipedia:
Recently, a patch has been released for Sacred Gold which updates to version 2.28 (all releases.) This patch happens to revert it back to the original format before Encore asked to make the game Teen rated. By making a change in the settings.cfg, Violence can be re-enabled. Also the copy-protection scheme happens to get disabled by this patch in the USA release.

So basically you can download a patch to put it back to the UK version.
Not sure if this version has it or not, but the "fix" (if you want to think about it like that) is available.

That sounds good to me. I wish there was a source for that claim in Wikipedia but it sounds reasonable. Thanks for tracking that down.

If im not wrong the game itself is patched to version 2.28 as the description on GOG says that "This game has been patched to the latest official version: 2.28" so i guess there is no need for additional patching it?
Maybe someone from GOG Team can answer this better :)

No problem ;) I plan on getting this game tomorrow. I won't be buying a lot of new games for awhile, so I'm looking for cheap games with a lot of value and this one looks to fit the bill.
