I never was able to get this to run without graphical glitches on Vista, 7, or 8. I just got Windows 10 on this machine I normally wouldn't play it on, and it looks ok for once. So that's just one anecdote in support of the "Windows 10 will fix it" hypothesis, for what it's worth.

Works on two out of two computers now. Windows 10 is for reals.

I doubt that Windows 10 does anything better. I think it is more likely, that you had installed something on your previous systems that made some problems with this game (maybe even just the drivers). I think so, because I dont have any problems with this game on several windows 7 installations (on 3 different computers).

I'm not certain, but it might've been 8 that broke it for me I forget. I didn't install anything fancy or non-standard. I don't generally understand what the deal is with Windows, but generally the new ones either break things or fix things. Luck of the draw.

I'm unable to get it to work under Windows 10 for some reason. It always comes up with a message saying that Sacred is not responding. Any ideas?
