maniaczak: Not sure if this applies to the GOG game or not, but I got the demo to work in fullscreen by running it under Windows 98/ME compatibility mode with no real performance issues.
Running 8.1/10TP x64 the game runs great for me @ 1920x1200 full screen with no compatibility mode set whatsoever, with the notable exception of
RunasAdmin. The game won't run at all unless I RunasAdmin, but that's all--it runs under the normal Win8.1/10TP modes without difficulty. I also have the latest version of DX9.0c installed and I'm running the last community patch (1.50?) for Sacred 2 Gold & a textures mod, IIRC.
Edit: OOOOooops, sorry, guys...I just noticed this thread was a Sacred Gold, not a Sacred 2 Gold thread. Sorry.
But...I went back and fired up
Sacred Gold...same thing...only with Sacred Gold I don't even have to RunasAdmin...;) Runs great under 8.1/10TP x64 for me with no compatibility modes set at all...
