Help! I just got SG and am trying to run it on my Acer Aspire 10.1"netbook. I keep getting the tired-old-windows have to shut down the program error. Any help????
OK, please ignore the post. I answered my own question by finding out which games run on which chips. Yeesh! I haven't felt like such a newb since I used to chat by bouncing messages off of a gopher server board.
Anyone else go back that far?

Why don't you tell us what you found, instead of leaving a message here without info in it? Those of us with netbooks looked at this message to find that information.
Just bought this game for my Girlfriend, she couldn't run her original Disks because of the lack of a CD/DVD Drive on her Netbook.

We were perplexed for days with why it wasn't working.

Finally discovered that Sacred runs in 1024X768 Default resolution, and the Netbook is 1024X600.

We hooked up an external Monitor to the Netbook, switched it so the Monitor was the primary display, and at a resolution of 1024X768 or greater, and it works perfectly now.

There are possibly some utilities that may allow the netbook to exceed the 1024X600 limitation, but for now, the secondary monitor works fine.

Hope this info helps any fellow Netbook users.
