I bought Sacred 2 Gold a while back, but I only intend to play it with the Community Patch installed because of how buggy I've heard the game is.

I've also heard that Sacred 1 Gold is very buggy, but I'm still interested. So is there a similar Community Patch for Sacred 1 Gold?

There is indeed such a patch. It's called Sacred Reborn and it introduces widescreen and HD resolutions, as well as fixing several bugs and gameplay improvements.

The link is dead, any idea where I can actually find this? I've wanted to replay the game for a while but it's basically broken on modern hardware/OS's.

*edit* nevermind I was looking for something for Sacred *1* not 2 anyway

But that is for Sacred 1. And the link isn't dead; I just tested it. But it may not show for those not registered at the site.

All those links ultimately lead to the same Google Drive site, which does not work - it repeatedly prompts for logging in, without any success. IDK - it might have something to do with recent Google services malfunctions. Or not. :>

Would you consider uploading the mod to ModDB or Nexus Mods?

I've just tried and the top link works fine without logging in. I just clicked the 'Download now' button at the top right and it prepared my download and then was ready to download. I double checked and I wasn't logged in to Google nor did it ask me to. Maybe try another browser to see if that will help?

It's not my mod so I don't have permissions to upload it elsewhere.

I have noticed that Google Drive will prompt you to log in if you choose "Save to my Google Drive" instead of simply downloading it to your hard drive.

I can't do that. I immediately get a log-in prompt with an overlay, so I can't click on anything. It's weird, because I've been downloading from Google Drive many times, without any hitch. I have never seen such prompt before. :|

Well, I've got hundreds of other games to play with. :P
