I just installed Sacred
Gold and cannot find the resolution seTting in the game or the config file. i know it's simple and I'll recheck this board. VistA OS thank You

The game doesn't have any resolution settings, it runs at a fixed 1024X768.

In spite of your answer which seems correct, thank you.Somewhere I must be able to change the resolution. I ran it at 1920x1200 when it first came out but have lost the disc. I can break out my crt to run this, I suppose. Are there any ideas to get at the resolution? You probably played it fullscreen with proper scaling options, but it still was 1024x768.

You can reject it if you want, but it would be pointless. This game has no adjustable resolution options: none within the game, none in the game files, none in the registry. The resolution is hard-coded into the executable code and cannot be altered in any way. If you think you ran it at another resolution in the past, well, that is simply not possible. Most likely Thiev is correct and either your monitor or video card scaled the image up to your monitor's resolution, but it was definitely still a 1024X768 image.

I played it on my old 17 inch crt. Since I had to lug It upstairs from storage, I'm keeping It here beside the LCD for older games. Much better.
