You want to play vanilla Sacred Gold in 1080p HD without any balancing tweaks?

1. Download this patch:

...and copy the files from the zip into your main installation folder (on Windows, this usually is
:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Sacred Gold)

2. Go into the PAK folder and rename "sound.pak" to "us_sound.pak", then move it to PAK\snd.

3. Start the game with "sacredNL.exe"

Optional: Download a language module from here and drop it into the PAK\snd folder.

You can switch languages with CTRL+D (text) and CTRL+SHIFT+D (audio) while in-game.
There will be a settingsNL.cfg in the main folder which can be edited e.g. to change resolution.

Installation Instructions:

1. Optional: Install the german language pack (run the exe, change the default path).
2. Copy the files from the Sacred1PureHD_fixed.zip to the main folder of the game.
(Default windows path for the GoG version: \Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Sacred Gold)

You may want to make a backup of "sacred.exe" first.
The game should then run in 1080p. If you want a different resolution, you have to edit "settings.cfg".
Not all resolutions may work, try them out.
