I just downloaded and installed this game using the GoG downloader and went to launch it but get the following message: ERROR DirectX 8.0 not installed.

This is the only GoG game I've installed that has ever failed to launch. I am running Vista 64 with the latest video drivers for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti, and have been through all the troubleshooting steps described on this page: http://www.gog.com/support/runaway_a_road_adventure/ibread_first_pc_windowsb_common_troubleshooting_stepsi

I attempted to install the DirectX runtime package, but the installer said I already have the latest version so it wouldn't continue.

Any ideas? Thanks!
