I had to ask this question here because the GameFaqs message board for Runaway The Dream of the Turtle is dead. So I own the DVD version of Runaway 2, and in the first chapter when I have to look in the front hatch of the biplane to get items to continue the story, my game crashes. I am running it on a Windows 7 Laptop with a Intel HD Graphics Card. I am hoping to find some help on this forum because I am wanting to play the complete RUNAWAY trilogy back to back.

Are you using the latest patch for the DVD version ? (i also have the DVD version), i couldn't get it to run on my vista laptop without the 1.3 patch.

I have the 1.3 patch but when I try to install it I get an error saying that the game is not installed on my computer yet it is.

Ah OK well if you get that message it is most likely you have the DVD that is already updated (there are 2 versions of the DVD, you can find out which one you have by checking here http://forum.runaway-thegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3261 ), so you probably won't need the 1.3 patch, i have read on the official forums for runaway that the north American version of the game does have some problems in various chapters, and they have released fixes for those chapters, hopefully these will help.
