Does either RCT1 or RCT2 have a windowed mode? My monitor doesn't display full screen 4:3 properly and I have not been able to find a fix for it. I remember playing RCT1 way back and have fond memories and would like to get one or both of these some day soon. But until I can afford a new monitor that can handle 4:3 fullscreen without cropping the top and the bottom of the image, I don't want to get games that only run in 4:3 full screen resolutions.

Edit: RCT2 just stretches to fit my screen, no issues with it.

RCT1 has a windowed mode that can be dragged to form any aspect ratio. Just drag the corner to the aspect you want it to be and let go - it will adjust.

The non-GOG / Deluxe version can be hacked to do full screen 1280x720 (16:9) or the similar 16:10 / 4:3 ratios at full screen, but the GOG one is as of yet unhackable.
I can't window mode RCT2 though. It's UI seems a step backwards.

Are the RCT2 forums shared with this? I tried going to the 2 ones and it says page not found.
I believe they are shared. GoG has done that with other games of the same series.

As far as RCT2 goes, it will just fit to your screen, whether it is widescreen or standard. for widescreen resolutions, it will just show more of the park on screen. If doesn't force you into 4:3 mode like other games, so I have no complaints.
***Disregard, I was mistaken***
I'm able to choose 1280x800 just fine, which is exactly what I was looking for. Shame it doesn't also work for the GOG version of RCT1.

I agree with you here. I have 4 monitors on my work computer. It would be handy if it were windowed.
