I've heard many people mention running this game in window mode, but I don't know how. How do you do it?

Sorry to bump, but I think it might be relevant - When in window mode, who do you navigate the game. Because traditionally you just move the cursor to the edge of the screen and it will scroll across the map, but in window mode this doesn't seem to work

You can use the arrow keys to scroll the screen around. Alternately, you can open the map (Default key: TAB) and click on the map where you want to look.

I am having the opposite problem. My game is stuck in window mode and I cant get it to expand to full screen. My res is 1600x1200 but everytime I try to select anything other than "windowed" it defaults back to window. Can anyone help? I have to put my nose 3 inches from the screen to see anything! Thanks in advance.

Run the game as administrator and in compaitiblity mode for Win98. Keep trying in different sessions - from experience, the game tends to refuse resolution changes in the first few runs for no apparent reason.
