I have played RCT 1 and 3, 1 was way better but i was wondering is 2 better or worse then 1&3 also what was your favored RCT game?

There's not really much difference between 1 and 2. Especially from a visual perspective.
Some people like RCT 1 more because of minor differences in menu design and because the scenarios are better. However, you can download fanmade conversions of the RCT 1 scenarios for 2, so that's not a problem at all.

The game engine got an overhaul, so it runs more smoothly and stable on modern PCs. Also you get higher resolutions of up to 1280x800 widescreen (maybe more are available with a hack?)

Anyway, if you already got RCT 1 with both addons, there's no real reason to buy RCT 2 in my opinion and vice versa. If you lost your old discs and need to rebuy, I'd reccommend RCT 2. You can find the link for the scenarios in some other thread here. In any case, RCT 3 is the worst in the series.
If you've played through all RCT1 has to offer, grab RCT2. It's basically more of the same, which isn't a bad thing.
RCT3 isn't terrible - it's just different. It really depends on what you're looking for - the first two games are somewhat more realistic than the third and involve (from what I can remember) a fair bit more management. I actually own the whole lot but my version of RCT2 doesn't work properly :C
RCT3 is a beautiful game and very underrated.
The visitor AI is a bit off but the visuals for a 2003 game is gobs-macking. Especially when you light it up at night and you can see the parks reflection in the water.

Personally I've always preferred RCT1 but that's mostly because when I was young it was the only game my brother let me play so I became accustomed haha.
While RCT3 can be great fun, those utterly idiotic guests can really ruin it at times, not to mention some other niggles I have, i.e. with terrain that just doesn't want to line up right and I end up wasting time on trying to connect simple paths. Ugh!

RCT2 is definitely my favorite. As great fun as the first with some slight, but very welcome improvements.
I prefer RCT2 - the engine is better than 1 - it's easier to place scenery and there are some design tweaks. RCT3 is a bit fiddly for me - the snapping to grid and heights in RCT2 works better for me.
