I bought RCTD and to my surprise, it doesn't run in Windows 7 as advertised. I'm running Windows 7 32-bit, and I've tried everything. If I put it in 95/98 mode I get the access error, if I put it in any other mode I get nothing. I've tried updates, patches(which get the same error) every known fix. What is going on?

Do you have UAC turned on?

If so, there may be some permissions issues where you have the game installed. Try installing it in C:\GOG\ or in your documents folder or someplace where you have sufficient permissions.

I just bought RCTD, and I can't run it on Windows XP: a message about some Windows violation comes up, and then it crashes.
