This has been a problem I'm having for some time. Everytime I try to open the game, I will recive the very same error message (See the attachment).

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, downloaded it again, tried compatibility mode, everything, but the error still stays.

I'm running Windows 7 x64 Home Premium in a Laptop.

Problem solved, went to the .exe and it worked!

I am having a problem launching the game from the desktop. Every time I try to an error message appears saying RCT.exe cannot be started. What is the problem? I can redownload the game and launch it off the download but once I close the game I cannot reopen it.

Just run as administrator. That fixed it for me on Win 7 64bit

When I launch it from the icon or start menu entry the gog launcher always ends up crashing, the RCT.exe icon works without any issue.

I can start it but it freezes everytime i make it past the read me screen and all i can hear is music. Im running 8 gbs a i7 and a radeon card. So no idea why this isnt working

im having the same problem. I can start the game from the download....

i nget that same message when clicking from desktoprtc cant start or whatever. im very frustrated. ive trieed starting it frok programs same issue it only works when launched after being downloaded, im getting pissed. ive just wasted alot of time jst trying to start this plzzzzz help
