Any help game will not launch from gog galaxy or desktop any help is appreciated

Hey! I had the same problem, but finally got it working. I'll share what I found; FYI, I'm running Windows 10.

In short:
1. Right click the .exe and open its properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab and then select "Windows 98/ME"
3. Apply and exit, then run the game.
It worked for me after that, however the game still refuses to launch if I hit "Play Game" in Galaxy. The desktop shortcut and .exe work perfectly fine, though.
